About
Inspired by warmer climates; evening strolls exploring, taking in the views and admiring the landscape, bringing a sense of escapism with the circle acting as a portal like window into another world.
Inspiration has also been taken from the Japanese woodblock printmaking art movement known as Shin-hanga (New prints), which merged together Ukiyo-e traditions from the East with European influences.
This contemporary Japanese style circular landscape art print on Somerset Soft White Satin paper, hand pulled by the artist in her Brighton printmaking studio, is the third print in this series that complement each other when hung together. The other artworks are Moonlight Through The Trees and Moon Over The Plain.
“The picture arrived safely! It’s beautiful, like the last one I ordered!”
Franziska, Germany
“I bought two beautiful prints from Sherrie via Instagram and they were very quickly shipped to me. I can’t wait to get them hung on the wall. Thank you!”
Lokkei, London
